Cowabunga dudes, it’s everyone’s favourite pizza-loving reptiles forever enshrined to wax on this “totes amazeballs” shaped picture disc. It’s even got April O’Neil in there too, as if the main four weren’t enough.
The tune? Oh yeah, that’s Turtle Power, the theme from the 1990 movie. Is it good? Good is a subjective term but it’s catchier than the clap, that’s for sure.
Partners In Kryme only ever released two songs; this one and a track featured on Vanilla Ice’s Cool As Ice. Talk about quitting while you’re ahead.
T-U-R-T-L-E power
One of the best albums of the 90s, a stone cold classic from the Soundgarden lads. Everyone always called this grunge but it never really seemed to fit in there with me. Still gets regular listens (electronically, I’m not playing this thing) these days. Nice piece of blue vinyl too…
